Common Names: Aster, Monte Casino, Rainbow Aster, Spray Aster.

Description: Asters are dainty, daisy-like flowers with yellow centers distributed over airy sprays. They come in a rainbow of colors including white, pink, hot pink, lavender, red, purple and white. Vase life ranges from five to 14 days.

Description: Clusters of tiny, double flowers bloom on branching stems 3 to 4 feet tall. White is the most commonly used color; however, it is also available in pale pink, Gypsophila lives up to a week and dries well.

Not all colors are available for all types of flowers. While you can specify the overall color or colors of the arrangement (e.g., spring colors, fall colors, pastels, etc.), it again is wise to allow the florist to pick the individual colors and flowers so they can give you the best quality.

Make sure you have the complete street address of the recipient. The florist's delivery person cannot make a delivery to "the big white house next to the park" easily. If the address is for a large office building, specify the building name since these types of buildings often do not have easily seen street numbers.
