Description: Daisy-like blooms grow to 5 inches wide with layers of thin petals. They also grow in many sizes including miniature varieties; single-flowered or double-flowered; and spider varieties. Colors include white, cream, yellow, gold, pink, magenta, salmon, orange, red and bi-colors.

The best advice to remember is to keep the order as general and open as possible. Because flowers are usually better in some seasons and not others, it is wise to allow the florist to pick the types of flowers used so they can give you the best quality. Some flowers, such as roses, carnations and chrysanthemums, are available all year.

Make sure you have the complete street address of the recipient. The florist's delivery person cannot make a delivery to "the big white house next to the park" easily. If the address is for a large office building, specify the building name since these types of buildings often do not have easily seen street numbers.
